Today we are going to begin learning about how WWI was fought. Specifically, how they were fought in the trenches.

Below you will find your assignment and the readings you need to complete it.

Today we are going to focus on the notes only. Tomorrow you will complete one of the project options. In class, I will be giving you a handout. If you are absent, you can ask me for a handout or complete it on your own.

For each chunk of text, I want you to read once and identify the words that you are not sure of. Write those words down where it says “vocabulary” then look up the definitions

Remaining bullet points under each heading should be notes on information you learn from each text chunk.
